US-based Tesla has announced that it has started taking pre-orders for its Cybertruck electric pickup truck, with expected delivery in 2024-2025. The base configuration of the rear-wheel drive vehicle costs $50,000, offering a range of up to 400 kilometres on a single charge and acceleration to 100 kilometres per hour in 6.5 seconds.

The most advanced version of the Cyberbeast will be delivered in 2024 at a price of $100,000, with acceleration to 100 kilometres per hour in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 kilometres per hour. Delivery of this model is scheduled for 2024.

During the presentation of the electric car, Musk showed a video of the Cybertruck overtaking a Porsche 911 while towing another Porsche.
