A significant amount of funding is being allocated from the budget for education and healthcare

Uzbekistan's state budget for 2025 is expected to have revenues of 308.5 trillion soums and expenditures of 344.6 trillion soums, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Next year, the majority of social spending (47.3%) is planned to be directed toward education. Specifically, a total of 84.3 trillion soums will be allocated to this sector in 2025.
Out of this:
15.8 trillion soums for preschool education;
54 trillion soums for general secondary education;
7.8 trillion soums for professional education;
6.7 trillion soums for higher education.
For comparison, the amount allocated to education in 2025 will be 13.2 trillion soums more than the expected spending in 2024.
In 2025, 41.2 trillion soums from the state budget are planned to be allocated to the healthcare sector.
Additionally:
3.8 trillion soums will be spent on cultural expenses;
3.2 trillion soums on physical education and sports;
2.2 trillion soums on science.
A total of 17.3 trillion soums is expected to be allocated for social protection.
Out of this:
