A solid package of bilateral agreements between Uzbekistan and Pakistan has been signed

A new stage of Uzbek-Pakistani partnership: the heads of state signed strategic agreements on cooperation in science, youth policy, and security.
Following the talks in Tashkent, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif agreed to establish a High-Level Strategic Partnership Council, which will become a coordinating mechanism for the further development of cooperation.
In the presence of the leaders of the two countries, an exchange of signed documents took place, including:
Agreement on cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation;
Agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports;
The Agreement on Interaction between the Ministries of Internal Affairs;
Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Vocational Education and Youth Policy;
Partnership agreement between national news agencies.
In addition, agreements were signed on cooperation between diplomatic academies and on brotherhood between Tashkent and Lahore.
