Active senior citizens will be incentivized with 577,500 UZS per month

A Presidential decree, No. 405, on the measures to involve active senior citizens in the implementation of the "From Poverty to Prosperity" program has been adopted.
According to the decree, in each district, three active senior citizens with significant life experience and authority will be assigned to five poor families.
In the process of helping families overcome poverty, the main activities of the senior citizens will include the following:
➖Assisting with the rental of household and small production equipment and other necessary technical tools, with an option for installment payments;
➖Assigning children of these families to apprenticeships with artisans and craftsmen, as well as providing students in educational institutions with necessary study materials, equipment, and sportswear;
➖Promoting pedestrian culture;
➖Organizing sports events suitable for elderly citizens and involving them in physical education and sports.
Active senior citizens will be incentivized with 50% of the amount of MHTEKM per month (currently 577,500 UZS).
To encourage elderly citizens' participation in sports, 10 million UZS will be allocated annually for each district.
