An informal meeting of the presidents of the CIS member states will be held in St. Petersburg on 26 December. This was announced by the Secretary General of the CIS Sergey Lebedev.
"On 25-26 December, St. Petersburg will also host two important events. It is the Supreme Council of the EAEU at the level of presidents on 25 December, and an informal meeting of the CIS presidents is expected to take place on the 26th," he said.
Lebedev noted that "The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin invited his colleagues to St. Petersburg on 26 December in order to have a traditional informal chat, discuss topical issues and exchange views".
We remind you that yesterday Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
