Appointed new deputies of the mayor of Tashkent

The administration of Tashkent has appointed new first deputy and deputy mayors, as reported by the press service of the capital's administration.
Bahtiyor Khalimovich Khaydarov has been appointed as the first deputy mayor of Tashkent responsible for finance, economics, and poverty alleviation.
He was born in 1989 in Bukhara. In 2010, he graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute with a bachelor's degree, and in 2012, he obtained a master's degree from the same institute. He began his professional career in 2009 and has undertaken several responsible tasks. Until now, he served as the head of the Department of Major Social Initiatives Development of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Sanjar Shukhratovich Tajiyev has been appointed as the deputy mayor of Tashkent responsible for tourism, culture, cultural heritage, and mass communications.
He was born in 1981 in Tashkent. In 2003, he graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies with a bachelor's degree, and in 2006, he obtained a master's degree from the same institute. He began his professional career in 2003 and has held several responsible positions, including the position of the first deputy head of the Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the city of Tashkent. Until recently, he served as the CEO of The Mob LLC.
It should be reminded that the current mayor of Tashkent city is Umurzakov Shavkat Buranovich. He was approved for the post on 3 April 2024.
