Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will hold joint operational-tactical command and staff exercises "We are united - 2024" in July this year. This was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
According to its data, the exercise will be held at the Oymash training range in Kazakhstan, as well as at Cape Tokmak in the waters of the Caspian Sea. "Actions will be carried out to fulfil training and combat tasks in the direction of determining the zone of armed conflicts," the report specifies.
According to the defence ministry, a conference was held in Aktau with the participation of representatives of the defence ministries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, at which its participants discussed several issues related to preparations for the manoeuvres.
