Saida Mirziyoyeva: Tashkent Needs More Green Spaces

Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration Head Saida Mirziyoyeva inspected the site of a future park in Tashkent’s Shaykhantahur district. She said the capital needs more green spaces, particularly given its hot climate.
The planned park will feature a lake, green areas and spaces for walking, sports and recreation with children.
Mirziyoyeva stressed that trees, water and shade directly affect residents’ quality of life. She also highlighted the need to preserve existing greenery and create new environmentally friendly areas.
“Such areas should be in every district of the capital. The city needs to develop more parks, preserve existing green spaces and create new environmentally friendly areas. This is one of the important directions in Tashkent’s development, and we will continue this work,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
