Asadjan Xodjayev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies for compliance and internal anti-corruption control. The relevant order was signed by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration.

Born in 1970, Xodjayev graduated from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications in 1993. From July 2020 to July 2025, he headed the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration until the agency was abolished.

Earlier, he served as Deputy Director General of the Agency for Communications and Informatization from 2004 to 2011, headed the Intellectual Property Agency from 2011 to 2012, and was Director of the National Library of Uzbekistan from 2012 to 2017.

From March to December 2017, Xodjayev served as Deputy State Adviser and Head of the Presidential Press Service. In 2017–2018, he was First Deputy Head of the Scientific and Educational Memorial Complex named after Islam Karimov.

In 2018–2019, he headed the Center for Information Security and Assistance in Ensuring Public Order under the relevant ministry. From November 2019, he served as Head of the State Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Informatization and Telecommunications.
