Russian forces launched a massive missile strike on Ukrainian cities this morning. In total, about 40 warheads were fired. Kiev, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Zhytomyr were hit. At least 20 dead and 50 wounded are known at the moment.

Kiev was attacked with cruise missiles and several Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. The strikes destroyed the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which had 620 beds and treated up to 18,000 children annually. Now young patients are being evacuated to other clinics. Also in the capital collapsed the entrance of a multi-storey building.

It is worth noting that Budapest calls on the leading world powers to put pressure on Russia and Ukraine to push the parties to the conflict to peace talks. This was stated by the head of the Hungarian prime minister's office, Gergay Guillasz, on air of the M1 TV channel.

The spokesman stated that representatives of major European countries, China, and the United States should force the parties to the conflict to sit down at the negotiating table to achieve a ceasefire, start peace talks, and conclude some kind of peace agreement.

On 2 July, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban paid an official visit to Kiev and discussed his plan to resolve the conflict with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Later, Orban arrived in Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and on 8 July, the Hungarian prime minister flew to Beijing.
