Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan launch cooperation in space education

The Azerbaijan Space Agency ("Azercosmos") and Uzbekistan’s STARS International University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
According to Report, the document aims to expand mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in education, scientific research, and the development of the space sector.
The agreement covers knowledge and experience sharing in the space industry, as well as fostering economic, industrial, scientific, and technological collaboration in the field of ICT.
The parties agreed to cooperate on personnel training, academic and research initiatives, use of the university's digital educational platforms, promotion of Azercosmos' educational and consulting services in Uzbekistan, and joint activities in telecommunications, commercial use of space technologies, and Earth observation.
