According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia should be a document without open points and should not include issues that will become topics of negotiation again at a later time.

It is worth noting that this statement reflects the country's desire to create a sustainable basis for future relations and to avoid the recurrence of conflict.

Jeyhun Bayramov also announced the start of intensive negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia since the beginning of 2024.

"Negotiations were held between the parties in Munich, Berlin and Almaty. We have to be realistic in our expectations, I cannot reveal the details because there are specific points," said the Minister.

It is worth reminding that direct talks between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, took place in Almaty on May 10-11. The meeting was initiated by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
