The deadliest attack in Swedish history occurred in the city of Erebro - a shooting at an adult education center killed 11 people, including a shooter. Police believe the shooter acted alone and was not previously known to law enforcement.

Police are continuing the investigation, searching several addresses in Erebre. For now, the motive of the criminal remains unknown, but the version of the attack is not the main one.

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christersson called the incident "the most horrific mass shooting in the country's history." King Charles XVI Gustav and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed their condolences.
