Centrum Air introduces cloud-based in-flight entertainment system

Uzbekistan

Centrum Air is launching its cloud-based entertainment system, Centrum Media. The platform is already operational on the first three aircraft (UK32074, UK32131, and UK32130) and will be rolled out across the entire fleet by the end of the year. Centrum Media allows passengers to connect to a Wi-Fi portal from their smartphone, tablet, or laptop without installing apps—simply scan a QR code. The platform features a catalog of films, podcasts, magazines, flight information, and answers to frequently asked questions. Furthermore, the new system allows passengers to order additional snacks and drinks directly from their devices without leaving their seat.

Within the new platform, passengers can also leave ratings and comments about their flight, crew performance, and service level. This feature creates a transparent feedback channel and helps us better understand traveler expectations. The feedback we receive directly influences the development of product solutions and allows Centrum Air to maintain high quality standards while remaining open and attentive to its passengers. The launch of Centrum Media is a step toward creating a unified digital service standard. The cloud-based model allows for content updates without decommissioning aircraft and is ready for expansion with future company services.

Coinciding with the system's launch, the new winter issue of Centrum Travel Media magazine was released. The issue is dedicated to the theme of "air"—as a space of freedom and a source of inspiration. The magazine includes a comprehensive interview with Centrum Air's first female pilot, as well as stories about how people seek connection with the sky and why responsibility for the skies begins with each of us. The new issue underscores the airline's commitment to building its own media platform for travelers and its commitment to comply with international ESG standards and norms.

Furthermore, the airline is preparing to launch a new project—Centrum Select, a branded online store, which will launch in 2026. Passengers will be able to purchase exclusive merchandise, including aircraft models, branded shopping bags, removal kits, airline mascot keychains, and other collectibles. This project will be part of the brand's unified ecosystem and will allow travelers to take a piece of Centrum Air with them.

Centrum Air will continue to implement technological solutions that make travel more convenient and strengthen the airline's position in the region.
