Centrum Air launches a new initiative: the first aircraft named after Amir Temur

Centrum Air announces the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting historical and cultural values, under which the airline’s aircraft will be named after outstanding historical figures.
The first aircraft to receive a name under this initiative will be a passenger Airbus with registration number UK32070, which will be named after the great statesman and military leader Amir Temur. The choice is symbolically timed to coincide with the date of his birth.
This initiative is aimed at promoting historical heritage and reflects respect for the history and contributions of our ancestors, which is an important part of the company’s values and cultural mission.
Amir Temur went down in history as a great military leader and statesman, during whose reign Samarkand became a major center of science, culture, and trade, while international ties between East and West actively developed. Today, aviation continues this mission by connecting countries and contributing to the strengthening of international ties and cultural exchange.
Founder and CEO of Centrum Holding, Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, commented:
As part of this initiative, the names of outstanding historical figures will be assigned to all 25 aircraft within the holding, including the fleet of the private cargo airline My Freighter. The aircraft will bear the names of great ancestors who made significant contributions to the development of statehood, science, culture, and international relations. In this way, Centrum Air will carry out a cultural mission, presenting the country’s rich historical heritage on the international stage.
