On June 24, a ceremonial reception for the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, took place at the "Kuksaroy" residence, according to the press service of Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
An honour guard was lined up in the square in front of the residence.
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium. A military band played the national anthems of both countries.
The leaders reviewed the honour guard and greeted members of the official delegations.
After a joint photograph, high-level talks began.
The state visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will last from 23 to 26 June.
