Chevrolet Unveils the New Spark Version
Technology
The legendary Chevrolet Spark has undergone a radical transformation—now it’s a compact crossover. The updated model has been named Chevrolet Spark EUV.
This time, Chevrolet has introduced not the usual city hatchback but a compact electric crossover. The new model is based on China’s Baojun Yep Plus platform, with the only distinguishing features being its badges and branding.
The Spark EUV features a boxy design, massive bumpers, LED headlights connected by a glossy black panel, vertical taillights, and a side-hinged tailgate. Its approximate dimensions are length – 3,996 mm, width – 1,760 mm, height – 1,726 mm, and wheelbase – 2,560 mm.
Additionally, the Activ badge on the body suggests a possible special trim level. Some experts speculate that the Spark EUV will be an electric vehicle, but no official technical specifications have been released yet. The full unveiling of the model is expected to provide more details.
Chevrolet is making a strong push into the compact electric crossover segment, but whether the Spark will maintain its popularity in this new format remains an open question.
