Construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway continues to advance, strengthening regional connectivity and creating new opportunities for international trade. The progress of the strategic project was the central focus of talks between Uzbek and Chinese officials.

Uzbekistan's Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Wang Jinxi, Deputy Chairman of China State Railway Group. The parties reviewed the current status of the railway project and confirmed that construction is proceeding according to schedule.

The discussions also focused on expanding regional transport corridors, increasing international freight volumes, improving the efficiency of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan multimodal route, enhancing logistics, and considering export status for the Kashgar border station.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain regular monitoring of the project's implementation and further expand practical cooperation in transport infrastructure development.
