A new industrial project involving Chinese investor Yang Cuizhzhong is planned in the Baghdad district of Uzbekistan’s Fergana Region. The project is expected to attract approximately $20 million in investment, with a 5-hectare site in the district’s economic zone designated for its implementation.

A foreign-invested enterprise, GRANDHUNT 1688, has been registered for the project. Production is planned in two stages. The first stage has already begun, with technological equipment being supplied and preparations underway to launch the production of metal structures and sandwich panels. The project also includes plans to manufacture corrugated metal sheets and process metal structures.

The second stage envisages the construction of two modern production facilities.

During a meeting with the investor, Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov expressed readiness to provide the necessary support for the project. The parties signed a cooperation agreement following the meeting.

According to the state enterprise registration data cited in the source material, GRANDHUNT 1688 was registered on July 27. The company has an authorized capital of UZS 400 million, with its stated business activity listed as “production of other non-ferrous metals.” Yang Cuizhzhong is listed as the company’s sole founder and director.
