Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Hu Heping, arrived in Tashkent with a delegation to deepen cooperation in the field of culture and tourism. The visit is also dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.

Chinese Minister of Culture Hu Heping Arrived in Uzbekistan to Strengthen Cultural Ties

Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, Hu Heping, has arrived in Tashkent with a high-ranking delegation. The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen co-operation in the field of culture and tourism between the two countries.

An important aspect of the visit programme is the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, which is an important project to expand cooperation in culture and tourism in the region.

As part of the visit, meetings with the heads of Uzbekistan's ministries and agencies are planned, as well as participation in various cultural events, including the gala concert "Days of Chinese Culture".

Despite the already existing active co-operation, the countries intend to deepen partnership relations, especially in the tourism sector. The plan is to increase the flow of Chinese tourists to Uzbekistan to 1 million per year.

Hu Heping's visit is an important step in the development of cultural and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and China and contributes to further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
