“Digital Transformation of Industrial Enterprises” forum held at TPUT

On June 27, 2024, a forum on "Digital Transformation of Industrial Enterprises" was held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, with the participation of the largest Russian industrial companies. This was stated by the TPUT press office.

The forum was attended by about 10 large Russian enterprises with presentations in the field of modern robotics, digital twin, 3D modelling and VR/AR technologies for educational system and industrial enterprises.

During the forum, special attention was paid to how these companies interact with higher and secondary educational institutions, including the training of specialists in the field of information modelling.

It is worth noting that during the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan on 26-27 May 2024, a number of documents were signed on further development of bilateral cooperation in various spheres, in particular, on the development of industrial cooperation, introduction into production of scientific and innovative developments based on the best Russian experience, as well as on technology transfer.

Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT) was established on April 27, 2009 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PP 1106 dated 27.04.2009 and the Agreement between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC Uzavtosanoat and Turin Polytechnic University Politecnico di Torino, Italy dated January 10, 2009 as a higher education institution in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan for implementation of activities aimed at training highly-qualified specialists for the automotive, mechanical engineering and electrical industry, energy industry, companies and organizations of industrial and civil engineering and construction.
