Members of an armed gang attacked the Maro market in Kaduna state.
At least 12 people died, with another 20 injured as a result of the armed attack on the market in the Nigerian state of Kaduna, according to the Anadolu news agency, citing local media reports.
It is noted that members of an armed gang carried out the attack on the Maro market. The injured have been hospitalized. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
Recently, Nigeria has been subjected to attacks by armed gangs in various parts of the country, as well as by terrorist organizations such as "Boko Haram" and ISWAP, the West African branch of ISIS.
As a result of the attacks in Kaduna state since January of this year, dozens of people have been killed, and more than 300 people have been abducted.
