Two-time Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov is set to fight again in the professional ring. In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, he will face Puerto Rican boxer Jonathan Gonzalez for the WBA interim championship belt.
A professional boxing event will take place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, from April 17 to 19. One of the main highlights of the evening will be a bout featuring two-time Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov.
The Uzbek boxer, who currently ranks sixth in the World Boxing Association (WBA) rankings, will compete for the organization’s interim championship belt in the weight category up to 50 kilograms. His opponent will be experienced Puerto Rican fighter Jonathan Gonzalez.
Dusmatov’s last professional fight took place on July 20, 2025, when he defeated Filipino boxer Mark Antonio. Following that victory, his professional record stands at seven fights — all of which ended in wins.
