The European Union wants to further strengthen co-operation with Kyrgyzstan in trade, transport, green and digital transformation.

EU intends to strengthen co-operation with Kyrgyzstan
European Union High Representative for External Relations and Security Policy Josep Borrell, after meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakit Torobaev at the EU-Central Asia Transport Investment Forum.

"Good to meet Kyrgyz Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Torobaev at #IFTC24. Looking forward to signing the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement soon, and to further strengthen our cooperation on trade, transport and green and digital transformation," the European diplomat said.

For information: the European Union intends to attract up to €10bn in investments to create a transport corridor from Central Asia to Europe via Transcaucasia and Turkey, bypassing Russia.
