FIA Delegation Reviews Operations of the Unified Command Center in Tashkent

A delegation led by Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), visited the Unified Operational Command Center of the Tashkent Main Department of Internal Affairs. The guests were welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, who presented the center’s functions and technological capabilities.
The FIA delegation was shown integrated traffic monitoring systems, tools for early detection of hazardous situations, and rapid-response mechanisms based on advanced information technologies. Special emphasis was placed on how digital solutions are used to enhance road safety in the capital.
During the meeting, FIA representatives and leaders of relevant Uzbek agencies discussed opportunities for cooperation in motorsport. Both sides exchanged views on creating safe conditions for hosting automotive events and on improving safety standards in line with FIA principles.
The visit marked an important step toward strengthening collaboration between FIA and Uzbekistan, which continues to develop motorsport and modern road safety systems.
