The project was implemented pursuant to an order by the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Railways JSC on expanding the MPS Turon system and establishing a dedicated training center. The opening ceremony was attended by A.A. Umaraliyev, Head of the Youth and Social Projects Department of Uzbekistan Railways JSC, and S.S. Asrorov, Head of the Bukhara Regional Railway Junction.

The facility provides the necessary conditions for studying modern railway technologies, strengthening practical skills and training qualified specialists. Training will focus on the deployment and effective operation of four systems developed by local specialists: MPS Turon, MPAB Turon, DTS Turon and MAPS Turon.

The center has an annual training capacity of 28 specialists, including eight programmers and 20 installation electromechanics specialists.

The establishment of the center forms part of efforts to digitalize Uzbekistan’s railway sector, expand the use of modern technologies and strengthen the application of locally developed software solutions.
