From March 1, government websites will only be operated on a unified platform
Uzbekistan
Starting from March 1, in Uzbekistan, the official websites of government bodies will be operated solely on a unified platform. The purpose of this measure is to ensure the information security, relevance, and transparency of government entities. According to the new decision, government bodies are required to transfer their websites to the unified platform within one month.
The unified platform of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan was launched in 2023 and is based on the "One-stop-shop" principle. The operator of the unified platform is «Uzinfocom», which is responsible for the technical support of websites and ensuring cybersecurity. The heads of government bodies will be personally responsible for ensuring that the official websites of their organizations are operated on the unified platform.
The information on these websites must be regularly updated and comply with the country's legal requirements. Government bodies and organizations will enter into agreements with the platform operator to ensure the timely submission and registration of information. Special attention will be given to the security of information, and every six months, cybersecurity status will be checked.
Through the unified platform, the official websites of government bodies will provide updated and legally valid information.
