Groundbreaking ceremony for "Azerbaijan" Park in New Tashkent

A 4-hectare plot of land has been allocated for the park. It will be a modern public space reflecting the rich culture of Azerbaijan, its centuries-old history, and national traditions. The park will serve as a venue for demonstrating the cultural affinity and friendship between the two fraternal peoples.

It is worth noting that this goodwill initiative is reciprocal. During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to Azerbaijan, a capsule was ceremoniously laid in the foundation of the future "Uzbekistan" Park in the "White City" of Baku.

The 4.5-hectare complex will be built to uniquely showcase the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan, as well as the national architectural school. It will feature architectural representations of our country's historical monuments, green spaces, and promenades.

Thus, the "Azerbaijan" park in Tashkent and the "Uzbekistan" park in Baku will become yet another striking symbol of the centuries-old friendship, mutual respect, and spiritual closeness of the two peoples.

The heads of state laid symbolic time capsules on the site of the future park, marking the launch of the project.
