Hamas falsified the statistics of victims

An investigation by the British analytical institute Henry Jackson Society exposed the methods of victim statistics manipulation used by HAMAS in the Gaza Strip. The report claims that the Ministry of Health in Gaza, controlled by the terrorist organization, falsifies data to discredit the actions of the Israeli army.

The report, prepared by British Army veteran Andrew Fox, sheds light on these methods.
According to the report, the Ministry of Health systematically inflates the number of fatalities among women and children. For example, deceased men are listed as women, and adults are recorded as children. Fox provides several examples: a 22-year-old man was registered in the Gaza Ministry of Health’s statistics as a four-year-old child, and a 31-year-old as an infant. This data is used to create the impression that civilians are the main victims of the conflict.
Even the UN, which had previously relied on HAMAS data, revised its statistics: in May 2023, the number of children killed in Gaza was reduced by half. International organizations, such as UN Watch, have criticized the use of HAMAS data, considering it to support terrorist propaganda.
“If the UN continues to legitimize the HAMAS system, it will make the organization an accomplice to terrorist propaganda,” said UN Watch head Hillel Neuer.
