The 2024-2025 heating season in Tashkent officially ended on March 18, 2025. According to established regulations, the heating season is terminated after a five-day period with an average daily air temperature above +8°C.
Over the past week, temperatures in Tashkent have been around +18-19°C during the day, while nighttime temperatures have not dropped below +8°C. According to the Hydrometeorological Center, temperatures are expected to remain high over the next five days, with daytime temperatures reaching +20-22°C and nighttime temperatures staying above +10°C.
As a result, in accordance with current regulations, the heating system in Tashkent has been turned off. This decision is based on the fact that the average daily temperature in the capital has exceeded +12-13°C.
