Housing sales in Uzbekistan fell by 12%
In February, the number of real estate transactions in Uzbekistan dropped by 12% compared to January, totaling 22.4 thousand. However, year-on-year sales increased by 1%.

In Tashkent, sales fell by 9.5%.

Nationwide, secondary housing prices decreased by 0.6% over the month, but rose by 1% compared to last year. The most significant annual price growth was seen in Bukhara, Jizzakh, and Khorezm regions — around 8%.

In the capital, secondary housing prices fell by 0.3% in a month and by 5.1% year-on-year. Prices for new buildings declined by 3.1% over the year. The rental market also saw a moderate drop — the average price is $8 per sq. m, and $10 in central districts. Compared to last year, rental prices in Tashkent fell by 9.8%.
