Russia ranks first among the CIS countries in terms of military budget - in 2025, it will allocate $126 billion to defense. Following is Azerbaijan with $5 billion. Uzbekistan closes the top three with $2.8 billion allocated for defense.

For comparison, Kazakhstan plans to spend $2 billion, Armenia - $1.7 billion, and Belarus and Turkmenistan - $1.1 billion each. The defense budgets of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are significantly smaller - $221.8 million and $446 million, respectively.
