"Hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are experiencing shortages of medicine, food and fuel," the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
A total of 18 hospitals in the Gaza Strip have been forced to shut down their operations in the Gaza Strip due to heavy shelling and air raids by Israel, the Palestinian Health Ministry told AlJazeera TV.
"A total of 18 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including eight public institutions, were forced to stop their operations. The situation in Gaza's hospitals is catastrophic. It cannot be described in words, especially in the northern regions," the TV channel quoted the source as saying.
It is noted that there is a shortage of medicines, food and fuel in hospitals in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
