India's "Larsen & Toubro" (L&T) company is set to implement a project to construct the first sustainable data processing center in Uzbekistan, powered by artificial intelligence and with a capacity of 10 megawatts, reports the "Dunyo" news agency.

In a statement from the engineering company "Larsen & Toubro," this project is referred to as a "significant" order.

The project, to be implemented in Tashkent, includes the design of a modern facility equipped with advanced capabilities, the procurement of technologies, and the execution of construction works aimed at supporting next-generation AI applications, minimizing environmental impact, and enhancing energy efficiency.

The data center will be equipped with strong systems to protect confidential information using advanced security technologies, according to the company's statement. The project will introduce new standards for data center infrastructure in the region and seamlessly combine advanced technologies with a strong commitment to sustainability.

"Larsen & Toubro" is an Indian multinational company worth $27 billion, operating in various regions around the world, focusing on EPC projects (engineering, procurement, and construction), high-tech manufacturing, and services.
