Iran has launched missile strikes on two Israeli Air Force bases in retaliation for recent events. The attacks targeted key military installations, including bases of the Israeli Air Force and Mossad headquarters, according to Iran's Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri.

Bagheri emphasized that while they could have struck Israel’s economic infrastructure, they focused on military installations this time. The missile strikes also hit Israeli radars and armored vehicle storage sites.

These attacks come as a direct response to the deaths of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas' Ismail Haniyeh, who were killed in Israeli airstrikes. Iranian media reported significant damage to Israel's military infrastructure and claimed the use of hypersonic missiles.

Meanwhile, Israel's Defense Forces downplayed the damage from the strikes. In the backdrop of these developments, U.S. President Joe Biden instructed American forces to support Israel in its defense efforts.
