"Anadolu" reports that the Palestinians left Ofer prison in the occupied West Bank and were handed over to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross. This came shortly after the return of 13 Israelis released by Hamas.

The freed compatriots were greeted by hundreds of Palestinians carrying Palestinian and Hamas flags in the town of Beituniya, west of Ramallah. Israeli soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades against the crowd. Palestinians responded by throwing firebombs at the military.

The agreement for a four-day humanitarian pause in the conflict between Israel and Hamas came into force on Friday, 24 November, at 07:00 local time. The agreement provides for the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails in exchange for 50 Israelis held by Hamas.
