Israeli minister admits nuclear strike on Gaza
Dropping a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip is one of the possible options for the current situation in the region. This was announced on the air of a local radio station by Israeli Cultural Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu, who represents the "Otzma Yehudit" ("Jewish Power") party in the coalition government.

He said residents of the Palestinian enclave "should go either to Ireland or to the desert."

Eliyahu is known for his extreme hostility towards Palestine and is reportedly in favour of a ban on humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.

He has also called for the reoccupation of Gaza and the building of illegal Jewish settlements there.
