It became known how many citizens received entry visas to Uzbekistan in six months

Over the past six months, entry visas to Uzbekistan were issued to 60,744 foreign citizens, of which 32,477 were issued electronically. This was announced today, July 25, at a briefing by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Akhror Burkhanov.

According to the representative of the department, from January to June, the Foreign Ministry received 60,528 applications from individuals and legal entities, of which 18,259 came through the consular and legal department of the ministry, and 42,269 through foreign missions.

During the reporting period, 523 citizens of Uzbekistan were repatriated who became victims of human trafficking or were left without a job, without a breadwinner and in other difficult situations.

Identity documents were returned to 133 Uzbek citizens whose passports were illegally confiscated by employers.
