According to "Mediazona," Rizzo was fined 50,000 rubles. The case was initiated after he walked through the streets on November 30 with a rainbow flag depicting a white dove, a flower, and the word Pace (which means "peace" in Italian).

The court’s decision stated that the flag, which drew the attention of law enforcement, belongs to "an international peace movement widely recognized in Europe." The court ruled that the flag "clearly expresses a negative attitude towards the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" and conveys "negative sentiments about the military operation of the Russian Armed Forces."

Rizzo did not admit guilt during the trial. He stated that he lives in Russia with his wife, has various flags at home, and on that day decided to take a walk and take photos with one of them. He was later detained by officers from the Kitay-gorod police department, who filed a report against him.
