Japan Cancels Over 230 Flights Due to Approaching Typhoon

Japan is facing widespread travel disruptions as Typhoon Shanshan approaches, with over 230 flights canceled across the country, according to TBS News Dig.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced the cancellation of all flights at Tsushima, Fukuoka, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima airports on August 29 due to the incoming typhoon. Additional flights were canceled on August 28 and 30, with a total of 80 flights grounded over three days.
Japan Airlines also decided to cancel 148 flights today and tomorrow, further exacerbating the transportation chaos.
Train services will be suspended tonight between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo stations, and disruptions are also expected tomorrow between Hakata and Kumamoto stations.
