The Japanese government has identified seven key areas of assistance to Ukraine, the Sankei newspaper has reported. It is planned to sign 20 documents covering humanitarian support, development of agriculture and livestock breeding, remote medicine, biotechnology, information technology and information and communication technologies as part of the Japan-Ukraine conference on boosting the country's economic recovery.
Investment in some of these areas, such as remote medicine, could reach 10 billion yen (approximately $68 million). The areas presented are divided into three main platforms: urgent recovery assistance, economic recovery and productivity enhancement, and basic infrastructure.
The conference, scheduled for 19 February, will focus on these important aspects of cooperation and will be attended by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
