Japan imposes additional sanctions on DPRK

Japan has imposed sanctions against four people and four organisations because of the DPRK.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry announced the introduction of new sanctions against organisations and individuals who are associated with the DPRK's nuclear and missile programmes, as well as other activities prohibited by UN Security Council resolutions.
The sanctions list includes four organisations and four individuals, including Moscow-based Intellekt LCC and other companies based in Slovakia, China and the DPRK.
Also on the list is one Russian of Azerbaijani origin with Slovak citizenship, as well as DPRK citizens living in Russia, China and Belarus.
Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa said Japan has imposed new sanctions on North Korea along with the US, South Korea and Australia in response to the satellite launch.
