Kim Jong-un's 10-year-old daughter is his likely successor

South Korean intelligence reports that Kim Jong-un's young daughter, who often accompanies him to events ranging from missile tests to military parades, is likely to be his future heir.
Kim Ju-ae first appeared in public in November 2022, joining her father at a test of the new Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile. Since then, she has been a constant presence at important events.
The National Intelligence Service (NIS) notes that they continue to consider various scenarios of Pyongyang's "succession plans" as the country is ruled by the third generation of Kims.
According to the NIS statement, based on a careful analysis of its public activity and the level of respect it has received since its inception, it is assumed that Kim Ju Ae is the most likely successor. However, they are still considering all possible scenarios given Kim Jong Un's youth, good health and a host of other factors.
