Uzbekistan is taking a confident step into space with the support of South Korea. Thanks to the new agreement, the country will receive assistance in creating its own satellites and training specialists for the rapidly developing space industry.
South Korea will provide comprehensive support to Uzbekistan in creating satellites and training personnel for the space industry. The corresponding agreement was signed between the Korean Aeronautical and Space Administration (KASA) and Uzbekcosmos Agency on April 7 at the Space Symposium in Colorado Springs (USA), Yonhap news agency reports.
The parties agreed to cooperate in the development of satellites, exchange technologies and experience, and organize training and advanced training programs for Uzbek specialists.
KASA expressed confidence that this agreement will become a solid foundation for further strategic partnership, opening new horizons for Uzbekistan in space exploration and strengthening the country's international image in the scientific and technological sphere.
