Kyrgyzstan has banned the export of flour and wheat. This was reported by the press service of the country's Ministry of Agriculture.

It is noted that on September 22 of this year, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “on a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural products from the Kyrgyz Republic.”

“The decision was made to ensure food security and stabilize market prices for food,” the message says.

The ban applies to flour (wheat flour), as well as grain, which is valid for 6 months. The decision came into force today, September 25.
