Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov believes that there is theoretically a possibility to "speed up" the political resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, but for this to happen, the West must cease weapon deliveries.
Responding to an interview with RIA Novosti on whether there is a possibility to accelerate the process of political resolution of the situation around Ukraine, the minister stated that "theoretically — yes."
"For this to occur, it is necessary for the West to stop flooding Ukraine with weapons, and for Kyiv to cease military actions. The sooner this happens, the sooner political resolution will begin," said the Russian Foreign Minister.
