"I brought nuclear warheads here. Not just a few, but significantly more. Many are writing, ‘This is a joke, nobody brought anything.’ They were brought. The fact that they (opponents) call it a joke means they missed it. They didn’t even notice how we brought them here," Lukashenko said.

According to him, if enemies violate the state border, the response will be immediate.

"We agreed on this with the Russians even before they returned the nuclear weapons to us. Back then, it was about strategic weapons. Now we have tactical nuclear weapons. Although, perhaps, these are five times more powerful than this ‘Oreshnik’," the Belarusian leader added.

He also emphasized that using nuclear weapons is a great responsibility.

"Since Hiroshima and Nagasaki, no one has pressed the nuclear button. Even the most powerful states, let alone Belarus," Lukashenko stated.

It is worth recalling that in 2023, Moscow and Minsk agreed to deploy Russian tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. Vladimir Putin emphasized that control over these weapons remains with Russia.

Iskander missile systems are stationed on Belarusian territory. According to Lukashenko, they are equipped with missiles carrying nuclear warheads.
