World transfer record: Mbappe moves to Real Madrid for €300 million
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have agreed a deal for the sale of football superstar Kylian Mbappe in the amount of €300 million, which will break the world transfer record, according to PSG Community.

The French edition reports that a meeting took place on Wednesday between the Qatari owners of PSG and representatives of Real Madrid, and that negotiations "accelerated".

According to PSG Community, the initial cost of selling the striker will be €250 million, and another €50 million will be paid in bonuses, depending on the number of matches the 24-year-old will play for Los Blancos, and whether Mbappe will receive the highest individual award for the best player in the world, known as The Golden Ball.

If the report turns out to be accurate and the deal goes through, Real Madrid will actually break the world transfer record previously broken when PSG bought Neymar from Barcelona for €222 million in 2017.

Mbappe joined PSG on loan from Monaco that summer, and a year later became the most expensive teenager in the world, concluding a permanent agreement worth, according to rumors, €145 million plus €35 million as an addition.
