Mongolian President's visit to Uzbekistan ended

Today, 26 June, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, who was on a state visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, flew to Ulan Bator, UzA reports.

At Urgench International Airport, the Mongolian leader and his wife were seen off by Nuriddin Ismoilov, chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Rakhimov, regional mayor, and other officials.

President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh was in Uzbekistan on a state visit from 23 to 26 June.

The agenda of the visit included plans to develop constructive political dialogue and inter-parliamentary contacts, build up bilateral trade turnover, implement cooperation projects in mining, agriculture, livestock, light industry, healthcare, transport, logistics and other areas. The sides also discussed joint measures aimed at boosting cultural, humanitarian and tourist ties. The sides exchanged views on international issues.

It is worth noting that this was the first state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan.
