More than 1 million Uzbeks traveled abroad for tourism purposes

According to the National Statistics Committee, the number of Uzbek citizens traveling abroad for tourism purposes significantly increased in January-February 2025. A total of 1,032.2 thousand Uzbeks traveled abroad, which is 182.2 thousand more people or 21.4% higher compared to the same period last year.
The increase in outbound tourism among Uzbeks is attributed to the growth of the tourism industry, visa facilitation, and a general rise in international travel in recent years.

Other countries – 37,740 people
These figures reflect the travel trends of Uzbek citizens and highlight the growing interest in both regional and global destinations. Notably, neighboring countries dominate the list of most-visited destinations, but there is also an increasing flow of tourists to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
